DESCRIPTIVE PAPER



In number of banks exam in addition to the Objective TestDescriptive Test is also taken.In this paper candidates have to answer 3 out of 4 OR 4 out of 5 questions as per the bank exam rule. The students has the option to answer these questions either in English, Hindi or the Language of State i.e. Regional Language.

                                                    Although this paper is only for "Qualifying Purpose" and number of the descriptive exam are not added while making Merit List but it is compulsory to pass this exam with atleast 40% marks (35% for Reserved). Without passing it your numbers of objective exam are worthless.

In Descriptive Exam 2 types of questions are asked -
  • The questions which will ask your answer in Favour & Againstof any topic. 
  • The questions whose answers demands your general views, ideas. So that examiner can know about your mind & your thinking.                   
Examples:
  • Some people feel that India has failed to utilize the huge talent pool available in country.Give your views on the above proposition from your own reading, experience, etc.
  • Some people feel that India should spend more money on education than on purchasing arms & ammunitions.Give two points in favour and two in against of above statement
  • Some people feel that the Government should substantially reduce the quantum of income tax for salaried individuals.Give two points in favour & two in against of the above proposition
  • Suggest three effective measures to improve the fertility of soil in India.Illustrate how measures suggested by you will be effective
  • If all the students of class 10th are taught only in vernacular medium throughout the country.What would happen ?
  • Give three posible consequences, if such a situation arises.
